Retail Operations Manager

The retail operations manager is in charge of logistics for a retail location and/or online retail.
Concert halls and performance venues offer retail outlets for patrons and supporters to connect with the music and also bring a piece of their musical experience back home. The retail operations manager oversees all logistical matters for retail locations and online stores that concert halls and performance venues may offer. They are responsible for store design and floor layout, including fixtures, signage, and display items. They oversee aspects like managing the premises; training, scheduling, supervising store employees or volunteers; and purchasing merchandise.
Their responsibilities include inventory management and coordinating partnerships with vendors and local businesses. The retail operations manager is involved in forecasting sales, budgeting, and creating financial reports. They may be responsible for photographing and writing product descriptions for the merchandise to be sold online. Coordinating with other departments in the organization, the retail operations manager cultivates customer engagement through special events, including guest artist signing, vendor trunk shows, seminars, and workshops.
